The Metabo PowerMaxx SB 12 BL is a compact 12 V cordless hammer drill driver with a brushless motor. It handles screwdriving and drilling in steel, soft wood and masonry, and comes with 2 LiHD 4.0 Ah batteries, a charger and a case.
Drilling and screwdriving
Two gears provide no-load speeds of 0–450 and 0–1600 rpm. Maximum hard torque is 45 Nm, with an adjustable torque range of 0.5–5 Nm. Drilling capacity is up to 10 mm in steel and masonry, and 35 mm in soft wood.
- Chuck: keyless drill chuck with a 1.5–10 mm clamping range.
- Controls: forward and reverse rotation, plus electronic speed stabilisation.
- Lighting: an LED illuminates the work area.
- Carrying: the belt hook with bit holder can be fitted on either side.
