The Metabo KGS 18 LTX BL 254 is a cordless mitre saw for crosscuts and angled cuts. Its sliding function accommodates wider workpieces, with a cutting capacity of 305 x 92 mm at 90°/90°. This kit includes an 18 V 4.0 Ah battery and charger.
Cut alignment and adjustment
The brushless motor enables operation without a mains cable. Precision Cut Line (PCL) uses LEDs to create a shadow cutting line without readjustment. Blade tilt from -2 to 47° also permits undercuts, while the depth stop supports grooving. Clearly visible scales and controls help with setting adjustments.
Workpiece support and operation
- Support: two extendable table extensions and a quick-clamping device hold the workpiece.
- Chip collection: an integrated chip catch funnel and an included collection bag.
- Motor control: soft start and overload protection.
- Construction: die-cast aluminium housing and an ergonomic grip area.
The saw is compatible with all 18 V batteries from CAS brands. The supplied blade is the “Cordless cut wood - classic” 254x30 Z48.
